Founded in 2012, the mission of Kymari House is to support families by offering supervised visitation in a safe environment. Parents exercise their court-ordered parenting time at their facility under supervision. The facility is constructed to resemble a home-like setting, providing a neutral environment of trust and safety where children are able to relax and spend time reconnecting with their absent parent, without the burden and distraction of family conflict.
Family support services provide parents with education and coaching to enhance the parent-child relationship. Community partnerships, such as parenting workshops, Nurturing Parenting classes, and social groups for children with autism, provide positive parenting opportunities to families, which help promote greater safety for all parties once, supervised visitation ceases.
Sliding scale assistance ensures that no family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay fees.
Sept. 20: 20 for 20 Campaign asks supporters to ask 20 people to donate $20 to support Kymari House. One- time donations are also appreciated. To make a donation go to www.kymarihouse.org/donate. You can also follow on Facebook @kymarihouse.20 for 20 Fundraiser.
